ATV Training & Safety

We take your safety very seriously. Quad bikes and ATVs are excellent pieces of equipment and fantastic fun but they are also powerful machines, it's important you know how to handle your bike properly, the responsibility for careful operation lies solely with the rider.

Training is a must if you are new to quad biking and even experienced riders can take advantage of quad training, you'll be surprised at how much more you can learn and how it helps you gain the maximum amount of pleasure from your machine.

We work closely with EASI Training. Each new Suzuki ATV purchased comes with optional FREE EASI rider training, designed to improve your rider ability and overall safety. For all other brands optional quad training is available for a small fee. We recommend riders be trained to have the skill competence to handle the machine safely. The EASI rider course is an interactive, hands-on learning experience that is both practical and hugely enjoyable.

Apart from the riding techniques and training, the course also covers safety clothing and protective equipment, pre-ride inspections, risk assessment and environmental issues concerning ATVs. • Always read the owners manual carefully and follow the operating procedures as described.
• Pay special attention to any warnings found in the manual and to all labels on the machine.
• Children age 12-16 should ride ATVs with an engine size of 90cc or less.
• The manufacturer advises that no one under the age of 16 should operate an adult ATV.
• Never carry a passenger on a single person ATV.
• Always wear an approved motorcyle helmet.
• Eye protection, boots with ankle support, gloves, long trousers and a long sleeved jacket should always be worn.
• Show respect for your environment and the law.
• Never consume alcohol or drugs whilst operating an ATV.
• Never operate an ATV on a public road unless it meets the legal requirements for such use.
